বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক বিলের প্রকৃত মূল্যের ছাড় বা কর্তনের জন্য কোনো পরিমাণ অর্থ পরিশোধের জন্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত কোনো ব্যক্তি উক্তরূপ অর্থ প্রদানকালে, উহার উপর প্রযোজ্য পরিমাণের সর্বোচ্চ হারে কর কর্তন করিবেন।

50A.Deduction at source from discount on the real value of Bangladesh Bank bills:

Any person responsible for paying any amount on account of discount on the real value of Bangladesh Bank bills shall, at the time of making such payment, deduct tax at the maximum rate on the amount so payable or the rate applicable to such amount, whichever is greater:

Provided that no tax shall be deducted under this section where the said bill is purchased by an approved superannuation fund or pension fund or gratuity fund or a recognised provident fund, or a workers' profit participation fund.
