৩১৩। যাচাই সাপেক্ষে প্রমাণিত মিথ্যা বিবৃতির দণ্ড
যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি এইরূপ কোনো হিসাব বা বিবৃতি প্রদান করেন যাহা মিথ্যা, এবং তিনি জানেন বা বিশ্বাস করেন যে, তাহা মিথ্যা অথবা সত্য বলিয়া বিশ্বাস করেন না, তাহা হইলে তিনি অর্থদণ্ডসহ অনধিক ৫ (পাঁচ) বৎসর পর্যন্ত সশ্রম কারাদণ্ডে, তবে ৬ (ছয়) মাসের নিম্নে নহে, দণ্ডিত হইবেন।

166.Punishment for concealment of income, etc:
A person is guilty of an offence punishable with imprisonment which may extend to five years but shall not be less than three months, or with fine, or with both, if he conceals the particulars, or deliberately furnishes inaccurate particulars, of his income.
